Birthday Cake Batter Hummus 🧁 Peeled chickpeas for an absurdly long time for this and let me tell you, it was worth it!! This hummus is made from just chickpeas, almond extract, monk fruit, almond milk and sprinkles! It’s such a fun dip and packed full of protein, perfect for any time of day but I love it either as that 3pm snack attack or for dessert. Chickpeas can really do it all and I’m so here for it

1 can of chickpeas rinsed and peeled from outer layer (this makes the batter smooth and as tedious as it is, it’s worth it) blended in food processor with 3T wholeearthsweetener monk fruit (adjust to your sweetness level), 2T unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 2t almond extract (this is what gives it the cake batter taste, subbing for vanilla wont quite work but still might be good) and a pinch of sea salt. Blend until super smooth and then stir in 1/4 cup of sprinkles for the fun! Points will vary based on how many sprinkles you use, with my 1/4 cup, the entire recipe is only 3
