Happy New Year ✨
While I know we are all ready for a better year than last, 2020 wasn’t all bad – Sean and I moved in together after a few years of long distance, I traveled to a few new cities and explored the PNW, spent time with friends and I focused on this account and now have over 11,000 friends here!
In honor of that, I thought it was time for an little introduction with a few facts about me:
✨I’m 29 and live in Portland,Oregon with my boyfriend Sean
✨I have my dream job working in finance at Nike
✨I grew up playing sports and played lacrosse in college where I met closest friends.
✨I love being active and believe that exercising daily will make you a happier and overall healthier person. I love my onepeloton bike but also love running, biking outdoors and hiking
✨I started this account when I was doing ww and lost over 30 pounds and have maintained that for over 2 years now. I have since stopped doing ww but believe it helped me learn how to eat healthy for life
✨I eat primarily pescatarian after moving in with Sean and adopting his diet and I love it. It really does make me feel my best
Since it is the new year, I do have a few intentions for 2021:
✨Make and eat food that tastes good and makes me feel good. This means lots of veggies and grains but also allowing myself a cookie on a Tuesday.
✨Take rest days. While I believe we should move our bodies daily, not every day needs to be a PR and I want to be better at doing more light walks and yoga classes to recharge
✨Have a functioning, helpful website (healthykel.com) where you’ll be able to find all my recipes and more!
