HUNGER CUES – do you honor them or try and push them off? I used to always push them off if I was hungry when it wasn’t what I considered an appropriate time to eat. I’d say I’m just bored or just thirsty, which can be true BUT once I started to really honor those hunger cues, the less power being hungry had over me. I start my mornings with a collagen coffee, sometimes that will keep me full until after noon but sometimes I’m hungry pretty quickly after. Every single day my hunger changes, so I try to match my meals with my hunger. Today I needed more than the coffee to get me to lunch so I made myself a hearty, protein and veggie packed breakfast and it’s just the fuel my body needed to get me through this workday
