Parmesan crusted smashed brussels sprouts🌱🧀

Need a last min recipe for your Easter feast? Or a delicious way to eat brussels sprouts?! This recipe is it! I ate the entire batch for lunch today and they were delish, so much so I didn’t even share with Sean

What you’ll need:
(Everything is Trader Joe’s)
•bag of Brussels sprouts, trimmed
•avocado oil
•salt
•garlic powder
•black pepper
•shredded Parmesan cheese
•lemon juice

How to do it:
•preheat oven to 425
•boil a pot of water and add some salt
•add trimmed Brussels sprouts and boil until tender, about 10 minutes
•place in ice bath
•squeeze out excess water and place on baking sheet
•with a cup, smash the Brussels sprouts
•coat with avocado oil, salt, garlic powder
•bake for 12 minutes, flip and bake for another 5. Add a pinch of Parmesan to each Brussels sprout and place back in oven for 10 minutes
•broil for 2 minutes
•once out of oven, squeeze juice of lemon and some cracked pepper over them
•enjoy!
