🛒 For the Lemon cake
– 200g of flour
– 120g of white sugar
– 90g of butter
– 4 eggs
– 1 packet of baking powder
– 1 lime
– 1 lemon
– 3 tbsp of poppy seeds

The trick💡to have a fluffy cake is to separate the whites and the egg yolks.

1. Separate whites and yolks
2. Beat the egg whites until firm, put aside
3. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar
4. Add the flour and baking powder, mix. Add the melted butter, stir well
5. Add half of the lemon juices (Keep half for the topping) and the zest, mix
6. Add gently the whites into the dough
7. Put the poppy seeds and stir well
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 360F (180C) for 30 minutes.

🛒 For the lemonade:
– 1 lemon
– 1 lime
– 30g of white sugar
– 50cl of water

1. Press the lemon and slice the lime
2. Boil the water and add the sliced lime, let it cool
3. Add the lemon juice and sugar
4. Put in the fridge
5. Serve cold with some ice and fresh mint
